Things to Do In Dallas

Reunion Tower

The Reunion Tower "ball" is one of the most recognizable parts of the Dallas skyline. The tower is part of the Hyatt Regency and is close to the West End and the Sixth Floor Museum downtown. The glass elevator takes you to the observation deck where you can see views of city. There is also a restaurant (Antares) and Lounge (The Dome Lounge) inside if you want to grab dinner or a drink as well. Admission to the observation decks is $2 for adults and $1 for seniors and children.



Sixth Floor Museum / John F. Kennedy Museum http://www.jfk.org/home.htm



One of the biggest attractions in Dallas (we don't have many!) is the Sixth Floor Museum and the John F. Kennedy Museum. The museum includes exhibits related to President Kennedy as well as some information about the day of the assassination.



Admission is $10 for Adults & $9 for Seniors & Children (6-18), children under the age of 6 are free.



You can also see the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza which is adjacent to the Sixth Floor Museum.

This Aquarium is located in Downtown, and is home to marine life from all over the world. The Aquarium also has a Rainforest, South African, and Mayan exhibit.

Victory Park is a new area that is currently being developed. The development is centered around the American Airlines Center, the home to the Mavericks, Stars, and Desperados. http://www.americanairlinescenter.com/ They are currently in the process of building some hotels, restaurants and shops in and around the area. Hopefully by the wedding in August, there will be more to see here!
