Merry Christmas!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas with their family and friends.  This year was definitely more fun than last year since Benjamin was excited about opening and playing with his new presents.  Thankfully, Santa was still very generous despite Benjamin's tantrum...
Caitlin did a little better, although she does look a little scared after seeing what Santa did to her brother.
Benjamin had a blast making Christmas cookies (mostly because he liked eating handfuls of sprinkles...)
Caitlin in one of her Christmas outfits. Such a happy little girl!
We had a slightly hectic Christmas Eve.  St. Thomas was completely packed by the time Lolo and Lola got there to try to save us seats.  We were standing in the back for a little while and then decided it would be better to try to drive to St. Mark's in Plano for the 5pm mass....it was rushed but we made it (and had seats!)  Here is Benjamin saving seats for Mommy, Daddy and Sissy.
Benjamin also made some new friends at church and had fun playing with them
(especially since they had some cool cars to share!)
After mass we headed home to get ready for Noche Buena at Lolo and Lola's house.
We love daddy!

Our best attempt at a family picture.  Benjamin does NOT want to sit still!
Benjamin and Lola!  No picture with Lolo, he was busy making the ham in the kitchen!

The first gift Benjamin opened was his set of tractors from Aunt Rini and he kept going back to those.
So Mommy ended up opening most of his gifts.
 Check out my new shoes
 My new work bench
Lightning McQueen.  He still prefers to get out of the car and push it,
but I'm sure he'll be driving it around soon!
 Still opening...
Santa came to our house too.  A new tricycle (Benjamin is still a little too short for it) and an easel
 New piano

Benjamin loves to draw.  Thank goodness for washable markers!

 Stockings!
We were supposed to host Christmas Day at our house, but it started to snow and it was too hard for everyone to travel with the road conditions.  :(  So we just had a quiet day at home playing with all the new toys!

Benjamin by the tree on Christmas day...notice there are still lots of unopened presents under the tree!  It took days for us to finish opening them all!

We will be hiding some of these toys so we can have Christmas all year long!

Thank you to everyone for all the thoughtful presents!
We were overwhelmed with the generosity.

We are so thankful for our blessings this year (especially the arrival of our beautiful Caitlin) and we wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2013!
